You can book equipment hire via email or telephone. The hire process requires that all bookings are made and paid for in advance using a debit or credit card, as we do not accept cash on delivery for tool rental.

To complete the equipment hire process, you will need to provide a government-issued photographic ID, such as a passport or driving licence. This ID must be current and presented to the delivery driver at the time of delivery, or shown in-store if you are collecting your tool rental from us. Additionally, please provide proof of address, such as a utility bill or bank statement, that matches the invoice address submitted during the booking process. The proof must be dated within the last three months.
To ensure your peace of mind during the equipment hire process, we charge a small Damage Waiver fee. This fee protects you against accidental damage to the tools and equipment while you have them on hire, eliminating the need for large deposits for small tools and equipment. However, it's important to note that the Damage Waiver does not cover damage caused by misuse, loss, theft, or cleaning, and it is non-refundable.
Most of our smaller tools and equipment available for hire do not require a deposit in the equipment hire process. However, larger machines such as diggers and scissor lifts will necessitate a deposit. We refund the deposit in full upon the safe return and successful inspection of the equipment after tool rental.
We kindly request that all equipment hired through our tool rental service is returned in the same condition as it was at the beginning of the hire process. If any equipment needs cleaning upon return, a cleaning fee will be applied. Our policy on cleaning is fair and reasonable; we simply ask that any issues, such as paint on scaffold towers or cement left in mixers, are addressed before returning the equipment to us.
From 1st April 2022, most industries will no longer be permitted to use red diesel. Customers must not use red diesel to fuel hired equipment, even if they are engaging in the hire process within a permitted industry. Misfuelling of hired equipment will incur a tank drainage and fuel disposal charge, impacting the tool rental arrangements.

If you need to extend your hire period, please notify us as soon as possible. Late returns without prior arrangement may incur additional daily charges.
Yes, all equipment must be returned in a clean and reasonable condition. A cleaning charge may be applied if tools are returned excessively dirty or covered in construction debris.
In the event of a breakdown, contact us immediately. Do not attempt to repair the equipment yourself. If damage is caused by misuse or negligence, the hirer will be responsible for the repair or replacement costs. .
All petrol or diesel-powered equipment is supplied with a full tank. Please return the equipment with a full tank to avoid refueling charges.

Yes, our staff will provide a basic demonstration on how to operate the machinery safely and explain any necessary safety precautions when you collect or receive the items.
We supply essential safety information with every hire. Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) such as gloves, goggles, and ear protection is available for purchase at our branch if you do not have your own.
A damage waiver is an optional agreement between the hire company and the customer that limits the customer's financial liability for accidental damage to the equipment during the hire period.
By paying an additional fee—usually a small percentage of the total hire cost—you are protected from the full cost of repairs if the item is accidentally damaged while in your possession. Without a damage waiver, you are typically responsible for the full replacement or repair cost of the equipment if it is damaged.
